If someone asks what my career is, I respond, "Learning how people learn." I have been a teacher for all levels and handicaps of Special Education, English/ELA grades 7-12, as well as each grade level of elementary. I just love the fun of learning and seeing the students advance. I am from California, received a Masters in Special Education from Chapman University, a B.A. in English and Art from Mount St. Mary's University in Los Angeles. I have been teaching in the Inland Empire, as well as the High Desert of California, since 1994. The MzTeachuh blog I started in 2011 brings a privilege to participate in the online community. Cultivating the Melanie Link Taylor Learning Garden and Wildlife Habitat keeps me grounded and empowered to share the wonders of nature with my students.
