Blue Moon--For Reals

BTW, the moon won't really be blue.

Hope you don't mind the colloquial 'for reals.' I think that is a western USA expression among kids--but maybe it's more widespread. Just means, 'that's for sure.'

While enjoying the sky (which is free entertainment) here's some music. Hopefully, you won't be standing alone, without a dream in your heart, without a love of your own.

This is the very original version from 1936! Love the old-timey vid, too.

On the Bridge of The Enterprise NCC-1701-D

This is the actual set from the TNG set (translation: the television show with Patrick Stewart as Captain Jean Luc Picard.) It is always so much fun to inhabit that world for awhile.

Star Fleet ID
Klingon with  redundant heart.
As Commander T'Mel, assigned to the USS Mary Edwards Walker, Deep Space Medical Training vessal, I examined the visitors to the 2013 Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas. I was equipped with a tri-corder, and adapted stethoscope for Klingons, which is my specialty.

One Klingon crew member was found to have been associating with Orion slave girls.

Working those abs.
Star Fleet gets 'em young.

Cardio activities are regularly scheduled on the Enterprise. Here an Orion slave girl demonstrates a form of ab building/belly dancing.

Young humanoids are found to prosper in deep space.

See, that lady in the peach top is going to the Alternate Universe--or are we in the Alternate Universe?

A panel led by Data (Brent Spiner), Counselor Troi (Marina Sirtis,) Commander Ryker (Jonathan Frakes) and Jadzia Dax (Terry Farrell)  discussed the repercussions of the alternate universe (s) effect on conventioneers. Here you can see a participant transitioning between two such universes.

Alternate Universe Kira Neris.
Kilt-inspired Star Fleet uniform
The Alternate Universe Kira Neris(DS9) was spotted during the discussion.

R and R activities remain essentially the same in the future. Here a  Star Fleet officer sports a kilt-inspired uniform while taking the images of two Bjoran visitors.

Current Star Fleet devotees can participate in 2013!

All in all, it appears the future is looking mighty good.
