 I can't estimate how many times I have prayed this psalm in various trials and tribulations--natural disasters, plagues and epidemics. Just to note, I don't pretend to know who are 'the wicked' mentioned in this psalm. Like Jesus advised, I 'judge not, lest I be judged.' Matthew 7:1-3. I just make sure I'm all repented up, humble, recognizing I blow it enough to need mercy, as we all do. The clear conscience goal, forgiving those who trespass against us so I can be clear in spirit and have peace of mind. Our health is all related to spirit, mind, emotions, and body.

Hoping Your Easter Is Lovely

Recalling the Love of God in the garden.

This is a well-known prayer from St. Francis of Assisi, a person devoted to being as much like Jesus as possible.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:

where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

where there is sadness, joy. 

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console,

to be understood as to understand,

to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive, 

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, 

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen.
