Andy Warhol (print) If you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao, you know you ain't gonna make it with anyone anyhow. |
I nominate John Lennon, not only for political commentary, but for 'Julia,' 'Strawberry Fields,' and 'Happiness Is A Warm Gun.' So many others. Of course, lots of folks love 'Imagine.' Variety of music and poetry. I chose 'Revolution' because I've always wanted to pair John Lennon's poetry with Andy Warhol's prints of Mao, as well as getting along with the other three Beatles long enough to add 'shooby doo op bow' to this song.
